Well what a surprise the grayling was for me! Out on my own and as my son wasn’t with me, had to deal with it all by myself!! As I didn’t expect to catch anything THIS big, I had no scale to weigh it! Frightened the life out of me! I only had ONE worm 🪱 - second cast and bingo! The trout came later in the day.

Ok so our first fishing competition was at the sailing club at Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala) and my son beat me 7-3. After lunch we moved to my favourite location by the river Dee and I bagged myself a trout!! Ok so it’s diddy BUT new species for me! And I won!! 🤩🎣🥰
