Well at least this one saved the blank. After fishing in the pouring rain yesterday, with winds so hard that my brolly was carrying my seat box with me in it, I woke up today to see the weather was beautiful. So, it would have been an absolute sin to not hit the banks this morning. After a long hard day and not even I knock I decided I'm going to focus on feeding up a swim to at least pull something out. I knock up a feed of chopped worms, ground blood worm, micro pellets and dead maggots, thinking at least there is something for everyone here. I loaded up my 30g feeder and fired about 10 full feeders into the swim to deposit some feed. After o was satisfied I had zero'd in I set one last full load in but this time with a 6mm wafter , squid and krill. So I waited and waited and finally the quiver tip buckled round. It took me about 5 minutes to bring this in and to be fair this fish had slot of heart. It must have been the first time ever that my arm began to go dead from a fish of this size, the fella was a steam train. Anyway I managed to land him and here he is blank saved ✌️
