Taw River

Apologies for the cursing in the video 😅 but to my disbeleif i was relieved to finally catch a bass. I’d been out a solid 6 hours down the coast from 6am and 0 bass or fish activitiy at all. Saw dolphins in the distance mind which was cool. So i decided on a little walk down by the river local to me just before tea… it saved me a blank. Walked 41,000 steps too 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ended up becoming a bass guide for a chap who’s recently moved down with his young lad. Fortunately it wasn’t a blank and the young lad at least got to see a bass. My good deed done for the day. Had a couple tonight… biggest 45cm

A 50cm and a 48cm today on final part of the ebbing tide in the river. Hard hitting and great fighting bass, actually thought both were bigger before they revealed themselves.
