Went fly fishing for trout on a small private syndicate water had two rainbows one small and one near 2lbs. Also had four Carp all but one trout on a parachute fly and floating line an 6# rod.

Had a hard few hours fishing a private trout water near me. Tried lots of different flies and rates of retrieve. Managed to get this one in the net. Catch and release. Nice looking Rainbow. Jumped out three times during the fight. Swam back well. Just two more pulls with no hook up. 5 hours in the county side and no stress. Happy day’s.

Some of the rainbow trout on fly fishing slow sink line and a black and silver tadpole type. 10 in total in just over 3 hours. All returned. Private syndicate water.

Fly fishing for Rainbow Trout. 6# Redington rod and floating line again 6#. Small black and Green Montana and Red Tag flys Had 5 fish landed between 1.5 and 2 pounds. Lost about the same plus even more pulls. 12c light WSW wind and Sun then Rain and dark sky. Private water may have space for a new member.

Fly fishing our local trout lake. 8 fish in just over 4 hours. SmallBlack and green Montana and small red tag did the job. 6# floating long with a 12 foot leader 9ft 6# Redington rod. Wonderful November day cold but sunny 9c light wind.

Got out for a few hours this afternoon fly fishing for Rainbow Trout. Hard getting a pull. After about 4 hours and I don’t know how many fly changes green and black small Montana did the job. Had two both around 2lbs. Always good fun catching on a fly. Both fish returned and swam off well
