Out hunting for white amur, but ended up with this guy. A few more nibbles, but nothing else. Yesterday I caught a 7lb carp but during pictures he wriggled out of my hands and back in the water. So no pictures, lol. Odd weekend.

Literally once I casted in, he hit it. I had to let him swim a bit while I fetched my net. (Lesson learned...). He came in relatively easy, until he saw me, then he tore off for a few rounds. Finally got him in. Only I've this morning, but that's ok.... 😎👍🤔

My PS this year. Liked the corn I was using. Have a 3oz lead so never knew it was there. 3hrs next to a guy magnet fishing next to me. Scared everything away except this guy. I figured on him leaving after a while, but he kept on. My fault I didn't mine away. Already baited the place and saw some showing just before he started.
