Explored some creeks today for natives

Y’all are probably getting tired of seeing small rainbow trout but that’s fine by me. Another pretty day catching pretty trout.

Tons of small wild trout on the creek the other day. Beautiful colors on these guys. All caught on a tenkara rod.

Great fishing for native trout. Small but exciting. No one fishing either.

The good ole’ days

Nothing better than the colors on these small native trout. A small fish like this is exciting when fishing an unlikely spot. Caught on a wet fly in about 6 inches of water.
