Deep Slough Reservoir

Jase holding his Colorado State record tiger trout. Been waiting a while to post this one because I wanted it to be official on CPW's website. We fished the lake two days, first day we caught dozens of small tiger on the jig/minnow combo. Second day we hiked in early morning, and on Jase's first cast he watched this beast eat the jig two feet off shore. He was using light tackle and 4lb line so the flight lasted 4-5 minutes. We had only stopped to fish because the hunting was so rough. Came home with no elk this year, but we had this incredible memory instead.
