Grand Lake

I was on a boat about 50 yards offshore and I casted far off the boat and reeled at a medium pace. No hookset necessary cause it got thumped. Almost lost it because of no net.

At least I didn't start off the year with a skunk, lol First time on this lake. It may take a couple of times to figure it out. No laker. #17

Nice sunny day still plenty of ice so Ill take advantage of that.

cold morning with only one but scene was worth it.

Caught this little guy on a gold kastmaster. He must of had a BIG appetite because I had to pull all three tips of the treble hook out of his mouth, that’s why there’s a little blood. Tossed him right back though, at least I didn’t get skunked 🤣
