Moodus Reservoir

#catch22 I've always said if things go sideways and we have to live off the land, this little girl's going fishing. She never doesn't catch something. I on the other hand, went home catchless. My daughter makes me proud.

I'd like to consider that I'm a decent angler, but for some odd reason when I have both my kids together they out do me. 4-0 today, bass and a crappie. They each got a pair and I got mocked. 😆

No PB, but caught a fist full of bass this morning in the Moodus Reservoir. Dry spell is over. Crank baits and spinners all morning.

first fish of the year

The boy was on fire that morning. Caught 3 large mouth in about 10 casts.

Great day at Moodus Reservoir, caught a good size Largemouth Bass in the morning in the upper reservoir then a bunch of tiny sunnies and calico bass in the lower reservoir near sunset.

Fished for three hours and only caught two but i guess they were worth the wait. First was A 3.3 lber, the second was smaller and i didn't weigh her but she was about 2.25. Both on a five inch Yamamoto Swim Senko black and blue. 4/0 EWG Superline hook, 20lb braid with 20 lb flouro leader. Texas rigged
