Not much today

A first for my fishing partner aka my beautiful wife, last Saturday of my 2 week PTO, I caught first cat In less then 2 mins, next one that hit I asked her to please reel it in while I remove first one big mistake, that line the cat had buried around a 5 foot submerged log that had a lure, bird nest of line, lighted bobber, and 2 extra hooks buried in it , and the cat attached , after she got it ashore said that was fun, the next 3 we caught she gave me the look that said I know it’s your line but I’m reeling it in lol. thank you to all of my friends I got to meet the 2 weeks on this app, but back to work Monday am. A little shout out to a special friend I met on this app Reel lady 420 thank you for the great tip on a fantastic lake for cats, hope Cindy and I get to meet you and your boys in the near future, tight lines y’all.

Monday morning day off. Went back to same spot took fishing partner aka beautiful wife again, this time got 7 in 2 hrs and a trash can lid size soft shell turtle that tested my 40# braid line that got it to bank so I could remove hook. Same bait as Saturday

Late report finally got my fishing partner aka beautiful wife to go cat fishing with me, even gave her the best baits First wanted her to catch 1st cat fish ever , livers, punch bait, chicken breast in kool aid, hot dogs but out of 7 cats they passed hers to hit mine same baits.
