Hancock Lake

First two fish for the year. Not bad. I had one monster get away from me and spit the hook. Don’t know if it was a large bass or bowfin/mudfish. Either way fun first day back on the water.

Little guy wanted some top water action!!

Casted it out to the weed line with no luck. I was reeling it in quickly to cast out again and blam this Personal Best for me hit it like a truck!Awesome fight, I thought my rod was going to snap(next time I’ll set the drag) first time I ever had to use my net in the kayak for a bass.

Just launched the kayak in the water and thought I would try casting before I started paddling anywhere. Found this little guy ready to greet me.

Fishing for bass and some how this guy thought he could have a bite at it. …..

Soon as I casted it out waited 2 secs blam…
