I entertained a crowd of vacationers. Some from Indiana. Some literally from India. Reeeeeally glad I landed a fish this good and that I didn't look too foolish catching it.

"Jigs catch bigger than average fish." I've heard it a bunch, and I'm starting to believe since I've locked it in my hand.

It kept going down hill. I had to "settle" for a 2+ pounder to wrap the day. BY FAR my heaviest day. And to think it all happened in a March cold snap.

This would have been a new PB if I hadn't just caught the 5+ pounder. Smoked the jig, though.

My buddy Dan get's half the credit for this one. He spotted her and did everything but wave flags and give hand signals to drop a wacky Senko right in her face. I didn't have my scale for anything "official", but she was definitely in the 2-3 lb. range.

Not the first of the new year, but the first worth sharing. Starting off right with a new PB!
