Unnamed / E West Pkwy Pond

I'm not exactly sure what this is I'm pretty sure it's a carp but I don't know what kind because I was not aware that carp actually attack topwater baits ..I thought they ate grass and stuff but if anybody has any info I'd appreciate it... this thing was massive and I lost one bigger, I think, a little bit earlier than that ....I had him all the way to the bank but I couldn't get him up on the bank and I was using a little five foot six Lews speed pole.... but there were some barbs wrapped up in the lure and the string that was left so I just assumed it was a catfish... and then I read that there's some carp that has Barb's too so maybe it was another carp but again I didn't realize that they attacked topwater in such as an aggressive manner
