BIG TIMBER POND #1

12/07/2024 Ice Report: little less than 5 inches clear ice on medium pond, northern Kane county il. Bite was fire with first warm weather in a while today, luckily didn't seem to affect the ice much and hopefully it'll hold up well past this weekend. Unfortunately nothing of size, but managed 50 some dinks mainly bluegill. Wax worms in 10.5 feet of water. Wouldn't recommend pushing your luck past tomorrow morning with the start of weekend heat. Wait until the cold moves back later next week unless you really know what you're doing or are with someone who does, especially on larger water bodies. Experienced ice anglers, help your fishangler family out and answer ice depth questions when you can. There's alot of young and beginner anglers on here so help them out and keep them safe!

out with brother in law

We were using big head minnows. Didn’t expect to catch much in this heat, however, we caught 4 within two hours. #2020BassOff

Took the boys fishing & I caught a large mouth bass on my sons pole. One of them caught the frog. They were suer exited about Froggie as they named him.

Caught this fish hiding in a patch of overgrown weed just not too far from shore. That's one for today so far.
