Finally a good size cat out of Braidwood lake

After 3rd trip out this season, finally got my first fish of the season. I've had 5 before this and they all have gotten off at the boat on the trips prior. Had another today that got off at boat before this monster! I swear I thought it was gonna be the season of fish off at the boat! Also White T got his PB carp! 2 more trips planned this weekend! 2nd time on braidwood this season.

First trip of 2022! My dad kept the streak alive in this boat! Glad he caught it and not me. Was worth it! Here's to 2022! Can't wait to update here! Tight lines yall

First hybrid. Great fight on ultralight rod. Caught on rebel floating minnow blue and silver. Medium speed straight retrieve. On the cooler side of the lake. Got 3 more 2-3 lb largemouth on the south bank. Worth the trip back.
