Eureka Lake

Here are a few of my best catches over the past couple of weeks. Catfish are starting to bite pretty good this week! I also included a picture of a big bull frog. I almost stepped on him and he didn’t even move. Tight lines everyone!

Rough conditions out there this morning but I was able to get a few. I ended the morning with 3 channel cats, 7 dink bluegills, and 1 dink bass. Have a great weekend everyone!

Today was the first opportunity I’ve had to fish this week. I fished for everything today and ended up with 11 channel cats, 12 bluegills, 1 bass, 2 soft shell turtles 🤪 and 1 snapping turtle😜. Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend! Thanks to all the military personnel that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom! They may be gone but they will never be forgotten!!

I went back after the catfish this morning. They were still biting pretty good. I got 10 today. Biggest two were 3lbs. & 3lbs. 7 oz. Have a great weekend FA friends!!

Catfish were on fire 🔥🔥🔥 again this morning!! My wife went with me today to read a book while I fished so I had her take a few pictures. I caught 20 this morning and brought home the limit (all in the 2 1/2 - 3 lb. range). Smallest and biggest ones went back in the lake. Top 6 today were 3lbs, 3lbs 1 oz, 3lbs 2 oz, 4lbs 1 oz, 4lbs 8 oz, and 4lbs 11 oz. All caught on shrimp. Have a great weekend FA family!

Catfish were biting good again this morning! I caught 13 today and brought the limit home. Biggest 4 today were: 3lbs. 0 oz, 3 lbs. 1 oz, 3lbs. 15 oz. & 4lbs. 5 oz.

Good afternoon Fish Angler family. It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted any catches. We’ve had over three inches of rain the past few days so I knew the water would be too muddy to fish for crappie and bluegill, so I decided to target catfish today. What a day it was! I caught a total of 14, the biggest 5 were: 3 lbs 1 oz, 3lbs 14 oz, 4lbs 8 oz, 4 lbs 11 oz, and 5lbs 10 oz. All were caught on shrimp. I don’t know why the biggest one was bleeding so bad. I hooked him right in the corner of the mouth. All were released to grow bigger and hopefully catch another day!
