Nice lil fight on my ultralight. Love me some evening summer fishing...especially in the high 60s!

One of my toughest to land to date. She got all gnarled up in some thick weeds. Had to jump down approx 3 feet from the bank wall into the mud and muck to retrieve her before she broke me off. Shoes and socks were not salvageable so they immediately went into the nearest trash can and I drove home barefoot 😆 Gorgeous fish that was safely released!

On a rooster spinner! Second time this happened at this lake.

What a fighter!! Nothing like trying to land a biggin on an ultralight with a 6lb test mono leader...nearly wet myself 🤣 PB&J senko wacky rigged got her all worked up!

Landed my PB bass this evening!!! Unfortunately I didn't have a scale so not sure on weight but she sure felt like a five pounder?? Wish the photos better captured her beauty but I had to drag her through the muck. Caught her on a PB&J zman TRD on a weighted wacky rig. Next fish on the same lure was a sunfish about the size of my pinky so I'd say that's a pretty versatile setup 🤣🎣
