Woke up with a bit of time on my hands and decided to go out to a lake that I have never caught in! A little guy, but I’ll take it as it’s my first catch in this welcome to belleville lake!

Threw my hook into Richland Creek on a whim. Roster Tails are not very good for bridge fishing, but whatever. Immediately saw something lunge for it, but it didn't hit, so I retrieved and cast again. BAM! He may be tiny, but he was on purpose! 😎

Last fish of the outing. My next cast after this, my line got tangled up and as I was reeling in it snapped! Crazy weird, not even under tension. I managed to catch the other side of it and retrieve my lure, but lost about 25 ft of line that way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Last bass of the outing. Caught another before him, but had cast my Panther Martin over a log and he took the hook while I was retrieving it. Snapped the line against it and I had to switch to another Panther martin.
