Bass slayfest w/my cousin today in a quick hour session. I had a nice 3 lber w/5 overall & he had one absolute unit probably pushing 4, a smaller one & a small Pike. The wind had them fired up 🔥🤘🐟 Bites came for me all on a "Spawn Cherry" Vision 110 Plus One Jr. Jerkbait, and for my cousin on a shad colored swim jig, both baits twitched slow along the bottom.

No Pike yesterday but I was crushing the Bass. Had around 10 over a few hours.

Big pre-spawn female, safely released. Best of yesterday's catches, and actually my Illinois PB. The bite was on fire with the crazy 82 ° weather and the warming water temps. Bites were all coming on slow twitching jerkbaits near the bottom.

Small post spawn male wanted a piece of my jerkbait 🤘

Another post spawn male today- trying to regain that lost spawn weight. He did not succeed this time 🤣
