This is the second Bowfin I have ever caught . It was a good morning fishing . I caught 2 fish in the first 5 minutes then nothing for an hour . then the Bowfin and 6 small strippers in the next hour .

Caught my first Bowfin . I was surprised it didn't put up much of a fight . It swam right towards me . Sorry about the picture with my mouth open . I guess I was trying to catch some flies also .
