Evan yells, "Hey Dad! A huge one just came cruising through here!" 20 seconds later he was pulling it out. I told him that was a nice fish but, I'd only be impressed if he could fit his whole head in her mouth! Pretty close.

Last day of summer break, Evan does it again! Not sure but, close to his PR. This kid needs a sponsor! Wacky rigged watermelon senko...I think he's a fish whisperer.

This little guy pounded my swim senko and took it down. My 15lb test then wrapped around the front flipper of a big (maybe 15-20 lb. snapping turtle.) I thought it was a log until I saw the turbulence. Just as I was about to cut the line (no gun and I thought it was hooked) the flipper freed itself and I hauled in the fish. No turtle soup but CRAZY catch with the best possible ending...everyone made it out alive!
