Sunflower Park Lake

I couldnt tell you how many fish ive caught this year (though i wish i would’ve counted), but i can tell you that i had my fishing licenses checked tonight for the *6th* time this year! 2 were actual state game wardens and the other 4 all were park rangers for the county next to mine (JoCo for my Kansas folks). For my non-Kansas folks - Johnson County is known to be a bit “upity” or “hoity toity” as it is the wealthiest County in the state by a wide margin. They dont do that stereotype any favors by requiring you to buy an additional fishing license to fish on their *golden* shores… 🙄 Ok, rant over. 🤷‍♂️ 😂 Not a great bite tonight, but still managed a couple. 👍

Skunk me once, shame on you. Skunk me twice in the same day, may the shame of a thousand tiny bluegills befall my family. (Pulled it off everyone - i caught a fish today. This lil guy is the real MVP.)
