Burba Lake

Too big for live bait. Fun on 4lb line and low drag. XD

Last two days of fishing have been solid. Two bass and a crappie yesterday during lunch and two bows today at Laurel Lake.

Targeting bass today and ended up with 2 overly ambitious crappie. First one was during my lunch break and hit a red lipless crank. Second came in the evening on the jerk bait that has been producing for me all season.

First 6 bass of the year caught over the last 4 days. Great start to the season and the jerk bait has been producing more than ever!

Two bass this morning on the wacky rig fishing shallow. Gotta love the pre-work bite!

I'm happy what I got

These fishing apps don’t know everything. I always say the best time to go fishing is when the water is wet lol. Caught 6 today on lunch break. 5 on the wacky rig and one on the lipless crank.

Some last cast magic on the wacky rig saved me from the skunk.
