Snuck in a couple of hours on the Housatonic between meetings and found a bunch of small bass. I think smallmouth but not 100% sure, if someone could please confirm….

Had an hour to kill and my tenkara rod handy so I pulled off at this interesting hybrid Covered Bridge/UFO Park (I can’t make this up) along the Housatonic. Caught 3 smallies like this little guy on a beadhead caddis larva nymph. Cycled through five nymphs and thats what they wanted. Lots of feeesh along the rocky dropoffs. Saw a couple of big ones. I did not see any aliens.
