Shawsheen River Wetland

Last day for the orvis rod. Snapped 2' of the tip off fighting the last bass caught. The first fish in the pic series is the culprit. That rod has earned its spot in the rod graveyard(closet). Other than that it was a great day. I owned the place, all to myself. All caught on a thin mint fly size 10, about 1 1/4 in long.

Last days of summer fishing on the Shawsheen. Water is still warm. Flow rate 165cfs. Managed to wrangle in a few fallfish and a bass that put up a deceptively strong fight.
