This is the first fish for the newly acquired Abu Garcia Vendetta Rod, not a bad Large Mouth to break in the new rod with. Seen what the locals believed to be a Bowfin in this lake but I’m skeptical of anyone’s word wish I could have got it to bite so I could get a good look but maybe next time
