My youngest niece didn't care that it was raining. She wanted to fish. I had us on the water 15 minutes later. I love showing the little ones the fundamentals at an early age. You carry those skills for life. #catch23

This guy was chasing baitfish by a swimming platform.

I've been stuck in one corner of this lake all season because the bass spot is right by the landing. Today I decided to paddle the entire shoreline. Learned a lot about the structure and saw about a thousand spawning beds along the south side. They were stacked six or seven deep in rows in places. Wild. Great sign of a healthy population.

Found a few footballs tonight.
