First time taking the family down the Mississippi River and it was a huge success. Managed to catch a few perch along the way and handed the pole over for the 3 year old to reel in. The challenge was keeping the kids from going in head first, all they seemed to want to do was to dive right off the boat. Our little Intex Excursion 4 boat is the perfect size and the trolling motor attachment had us going at a good clip. Perfect afternoon on the water.
