Wirth Brothers Lake

And this guy decided he wanted me to catch him

One little 8"er at Wirth Bros. I was making my way to a new spot and decided to detour here for 20 mins.

So, my buddy and I talked to a local guy that happened to be fishing with his kid. He told us Burchard lake would be closed after the 15th, which was yesterday. We both love fishing Burchard.

Like I said the bite was slow, and after talking to that guy, we decided to head towards Burchard which is about 40 mins away from where we were at. Now, I've had my eyes on two different spots in the area around Burchard, so on the drive down, I made a detour.

So, my buddy and I started at Wirth Bros. It was slow. I was getting bites, but he wasn't.

Decided to go make my mark at Wirth Bros. I've been here once before, but never fished it. I was glad I came. 2 out of 3 casts equalled a fish, and got a beast of a gill.

One baby bass

I'm only logging this crappie separately because it's a white and the others were blacks. I like knowing which species are in the lakes, ponds, creeks, and rivers I fish.
