Unnamed / Princess Rd Pond

Local pond … had an hour … probably around 10 sunfish hitting the whopper plopper … wouldn’t let the LM near it. Switched to the Texas rigged senko and ended up with a good session. Last pick you can see the LM that followed my plopper then just sat there and laughed at me.

Post breakfast second stop of the day …. First pic hit the whopper plopper like a champ. Came up from underneath and completely cleared the surface before taking it back deep. Whopper plopper and Berkley Pitbull doing work. Dock runner and sunfish just for S&G’s

Slow morning, no topwater bite to speak of (in a spot I regularly do well). Switched to a black/white rooster tail … caught three (one camera shy, jumped back in) and a few sunnies for good luck.

Quick evening session … few LM and a bunch of sunnies

Sometimes it’s fun to just toy around with the little 3 foot dock runner …. Couple small LM and gills.

Quick session before the sun set … 10 total, missed a few more. Even got to check out the local beaver.

Quick feel good stop on a Sunday morning … make up for a less than stellar tournament on Saturday.

Back from vacation ... waited out the rainy weekend and hit up a local retention pond for some LM and gills between bbq’s ... nothing big but a quick, fun stop.
