Brant Lake

#catch23 quick stop above dam at Brant lake before work yielded a 13” & 15” both on the beaver. Got soaked;-)

Birthday weekend was a success, me and the Mrs Viv Wade went out on the pontoon with Avery Braico and stuck a few good ones. They were all over the bellows gill, docked the boat and fished the bridge, my wife landed one doing the figure 8 trick on the whopper plopper lol. 2 casts off the bridge I land probably my new PB which was 4ish but I left my scale on the boat, so it's unofficial but it was a beast. Happy 4th and tight lines...

Went out with my buddies Matt and Shannon to have a last fish after work, and take the boat out for winter. Lake was empty, boats gone, docks pulled out… summer is over for sure:-) I’ll fish till the freeze starts, then it’s time to Nordic ski! I agreed to head coach a local high school team this winter as they had nobody to coach, and were about to loose the program without a head coach! I’m certainly busy building, but I love to help my community when my skills can help:-) I’ll be in Anna Maria island Florida for a couple days in February of 2023… can anyone take my daughter and I kayak fishing for largemouth hogs? Tight lines everyone!!

Hit Brant lake this afternoon:-)

Left work early today and took my brother, his family, my daughter and my own parents on our fishing boat this afternoon. Had fun, and caught a bunch of sunnies and a perch or two. Funniest part was that my sister in law who hates both fish, and fishing … couldn’t keep ‘em off her hook lol! Nobody posed for a good fish picture, just lots of shots of people with their back to the camera, taking off tiny fish;-(

Dawn patrol before work on Brant lake with my buddy Jim:-) I tried to get V-Dubb H$K and Brian Richards on board but I didn’t plan ahead longer than last night ;-) hit the northern bays and caught some pickerel and small bass. Beautiful morning out on a gorgeous lake:-)
