Burden Lake

Sorry this is a second post but I had to since I caught two different species back to back! First catch on my 6th Sense Dark Sleeper. This Rock Bass was even smaller than the Perch, but it didn’t stop him from swallowing my lure🎣

Casted right along the shoreline, in the area of some docks. This Perch is a first for me! Also a first using my Mepps Comet Spinner Minnow🎣

Went fishing with my wife this morning at Burden Lake in Averill Park. I used my new 7’ MH Ugly Stick with the chatterbait for the first LMB. I used my Walmart special with my tried and true wacky rigged senko for the second LMB… nothing too crazy, maybe 1-2lbs each🎣 #TightLines #baitnwin

First fish I caught was maybe 1-2lbs and it was within the first few casts… swallowed the whole lure and hook! Second fish was a hog… hit my line so hard he knocked my lure off and bent the weedless cover on the hook. I used 5” watermelon black senkos and a weedless octo hook🎣😁
