#Catch23 Not sure what this guy was thinking 🤣

#Catch23 Out at Willowbrook for the first time in a long time. Got two, including this one and lost 3 on bad hooksets. Still no skunk.

She has been asking to go fishing for a couple weeks. Work hindered that. Her 3rd cast in and BOOM! 5 other people there fishing and didn't catch anything. She might be a natural. She was excited and I am so proud!

Little guy stopped the skunk again today. It was really hot today. Hotter than yesterday for sure. I lost three others on hooksets. I don’t know why I’m having such trouble lately. Anyone have any advice for hooksets on a Chatterbait or whopper plopper? I just can’t seem to get it right.

Long, slow day, but this guy ended the skunk! Last three outings, ZIP! I should have had 4 total today, including a really nice chunk, but couldn’t bring them in. First two lost were on my baitcaster with a whopper plopper, which would have been my first fish using either of those. Third one fell off the hook of my Chatterbait right at the edge of the water. Got this guy on the very next cast.
