Washington Park Lake

A little late night experimenting. Nothing to write home about but better then getting skunked.

So I went back to the smallmouth spot I mentioned I had found with my tube jigs and it was a blast! The golly whopper got away and would have been my pb for smallmouth bass but i caught some beauties. They were vicious...they remind me much of the peacock bass in South Florida. I could see them in their nesting beds and as soon as that tube jig bounced within sight they took off with purpose. It was a great evening.

First time trying out this bait, awsome action 👍🏽
