The biggest catch of the day, the White Crappie

The first white crappie I have caught in the pond after many years. I thought they died out in there but I'm glad to see that the population may still be there.

This is as enhanced as I can get it...I didn't have time to take multiples due to trying to get the fish back in the water as soon as I could weigh it. Anyways this is a record breaker for the heaviest Largemouth Bass I have ever caught as well as in the pond. It broke the record by 3 extra pounds from the last heaviest Bass I caught in my entire fishing career and 5 extra pounds for the largest I have ever caught in the pond. In all this Bass weighed in at 10lbs and honestly tested my strongest rod to it's limits. I actually had to pull it out of the water by grabbing the fishing line with my bare hands because I wasn't risking snapping the line or more importantly the rod itself.

Well...today wasn't a lucky day for me. Caught this little guy, had to deal with bait stealers and a bass ripped 75% off of two pumpkin seed worm lures

Catching catfish with some pork...and it actually worked

A 7 pound bass that gave me hell for five minutes yesterday. My medium rod had trouble reeling it in and that was the first time I heard my reel spool that fast in years being as there are few big fish where I live. But for the pond I was fishing in, this is a trophy in size and weight.
