Acton Lake

Went to Acton lake today fishing it was a slow day only caught one bluegill and few crappies.

Went to Acton lake today fishing it was a slow day only caught a few crappies and bluegills then I stopped by Rush Run and caught a few more crappies and bluegills.

I found a honey hole for small crappie. Ended up catches 16 crappie and one little bass. The biggest crappie was 12.5 and a couple of 10 inchers, but most were tiny. The bass was only 10. Most were caught using a #2 Mepps Black Fury rooster tail.

This beast caught me off guard. I was fishing for smaller cats on my telescoping pole. I had 3 good cats break off. Two of them broke off while flopping out of my net, but this one managed to stay hooked somehow. Crappies were a different story. I caught two little ones and missed about 30.

Went to Rush Run today fishing it was a bad day only caught two crappies.

Went to Acton lake today fishing it was a good day caught a bunch of small crappies and bluegills then I stopped by Rush Run and caught a bunch more crappies and bluegills and got to see a beautiful sunrise as well and saw a tree full of squirrels.
