Arrowhead Lake

Surprisingly this isn’t an old catch, because today Abbee and I got to hop around to a few ponds in search of anything that wanted to bite. It turned out to be a very successful day on the water and we were both able to catch plenty of nice largemouth. I was also able to accomplish a goal of mine that I had not yet checked off the list in four years of fishing; catch a fish on a frog. After four missed bites and my frog being sent to the moon by aggressive little bass, I finally felt the satisfaction of setting hook into a fish on the fifth bite. Afterwards I decided to switch to a senko at another pond where I couldn’t keep the fish off my hook. Most of them were little but we had plenty of double ups. I was also able to catch three fish on a massive spook, which was quite the challenge to unhook with three trebles.
