Cottonwood Creek Site 5 Reservoir

I used to think top water fishing was too monotonous & Rushed ( cast reel reel reel) but then I was taught to “walk the dog” 2 casts later had my 1st bass blow up type strike... idk if that’s worded right, but you get the gist..I only saw the tail end of it BUT the SOUND I HEARD had me thinking the boat and all was about to get swallowed.... and that’s a small fish.. soo needless to say top water isn’t too monotonous after all. (Same day as last post but different fish)
