Unnamed / Round Lake Rd Pond

We caught 23 total today. Had a great day. Fish had moved back out off the banks and out in middle now and we and our guests caught out bass on spinnerbaits.

We caught 13 total tonight. Shawna caught a hog on a plopper and returned it back to the wild to grow into a monster. 19.2 lb stringer. It was tough at first but we finally got the right color (orange) swimbaits and put on some smaller and quieter ploppers and start putting together some numbers. Shawna caught two on ribbon tail worms.

Took my son and his friend down to the watering hole and caught a couple after work. Tight lines my friends.

Been at the zoo all day for our 2 year old grandson's birthday. Got home just in time for sunset and had to go catch one. Tight lines my friends

Had a few minutes at sundown to slip down to a pond for some topwater action. The ol' jitterbug did the trick. Had a few frog bites but no hook ups. Tight lines my friends.

Well caught 3 but the third on the whopper plopper flew out when I landed it and one hook went through my ear and another stuck into my face. Didn't get picture of the last one I was kinda in shock with the plopper stuck on my face lol. All good though My wonderful wife is a nurse. She took care of me.

Only two tonight. I had a few minutes after dinner thought I'd see what the fish were up to. Had quite a few hook ups but only landed two. Beautiful night as soon as the sun started to set. Good way to start the week.
