3.36lb pike minnow caught on a yellow Spinnerbait. This thing put up a heck of a fight!

First bass on the Tualatin

Tualatin River up from Cook Park boat ramp about 1000 yarda, Kayak fishing, found a hole in brush on bank (5x6 foot), about 3' deep protected on current side by a dead fall, Texas Rig. Son said he thought he was snagged, fish did not "hit" it. No real way to cast in, brush was about 2' above water, had just lightly rained.

I catch these regularly, but only have luck on rooster tails.

Caught 6 bass here yesterday between 2:30-5:30 pm, used a 3-way swivel with a 2 ounce weight
