Was just about to give up, when I noticed 2 catfish right in front of me. I dangled my “trout bait” (chartreuse marshmallow) right in front of them. One bit, and I caught this beauty. I’d guess he was 7-8 lbs, maybe a little more. This is my first fish in over 20 years. Just got back into the sport a few weeks ago.
