Meadow Brook Pond

Weekend catches, mostly on dry flies.

Ice on a good third of the pond. Another week of freezing nights and the kayak may have to get put away until Spring.

Today I add Landlocked Atlantic Salmon to the list of fish caught on a wooly bugger.

Tricked some little bluegill with a bwo.

First pickerel landed on a fly.

Some crappie and a bluegill rounded out my morning.

Weird, but great morning got going with a chunky rainbow.

Good thing bluegill eat trout flies!
