North Branch Pawtuxet River

Today, went looking for shady parts of river, earlier in the day, to look for holdover trout, and found two!

spent a few hours yesterday trying to catch bass from my kayak. failed miserably, but still had great time doing so. Had a second line in the water with a worm under a float. caught a few tiny fish, but still too big for me to use as bait.

Got a second rainbow before the rain came yesterday.

Second cast. Been an hour, though, and nothing since. Still have a little time, so we will see how it goes.
