Spring Grove Pond

Yesterday. Eight on a Woolie Bugger, and three with slugs that were on my kayak when I was readying to launch.

More successful with a Bison Trout Magnet in much less time than a fly, but I've also been using trout magnets much longer. Two more monster Bass!

Two more today on a Wooly Bugger, with action all morning. Also got six strikes at a popping frog. I'll take from that that my presentation is improving, not so much my hook-set.

My weekend. Not my most productive, but given how little time I had, and that it was all mid-day, I am pleased.

First Crappie of 2021. Species PB for me.

Catching up. Rainbows and Brookies 4/27-5/1. Two were three pounds, two more were just over two pounds, the rest were around a pound. Good week!

Floating worms off the bottom. Looking forward to fishing again without 30+mph winds blowing in my face - it's been nearly two weeks straight...
