Lake Ashborough

Caught a nice sized brown bullhead in a retention pond behind my neighborhood. I fished on the bottom using balls of bread around 6 pm. I've caught many bullhead and bass back here and it is a nice relaxing place to fish. Do not eat any fish from here though the water is polluted.

I caught a pretty big large mouth bass in the sawmill branch canal which empties into the Ashley river. This was the biggest bass I had seen in the canal and so I was very happy to have caught it. I used greenish brown plastic worms and twitched them along the bottom. I was however unable to keep this fish due to pollution in the water. Nevertheless it was a fun catch. PS it will say I caught it in lake Ashborough but it was actually caught in the canal. It just wasn't listed in water bodies.
