Boyd Brothers Lake

Had a blast catching bluegill in a private pond !!! Red wigglers...

Pop took us to his friend’s cabin. There’s two Really nice quiet little lakes (or ponds). It’s a private lake and no motors allowed so we had to paddle this John boat around or fish from the bank but it wasn’t bad.We had the whole place to ourselves and per little man’s request did a lot of swimming and diving on the floating dock. The fish on the other hand... didn’t see one bass over a pound but the bream were huge! He caught three fish. I caught 2.5😂one was tiny. Woulda caught more but the little b@sst@rds kept jumping and spitting the hook out right back at us. The first two times it happened we all laughed and thought it was exciting. After about the 6th time I was ready to start chucking dynamite. I started dipping my pole as far into the water as it would go and it seemed to work. They were feisty little fellas, the last one I caught spazzed out in the boat and hooked my shoe laces😳and these are my good shoes😂😂😂🤘⚡️
