Bro got first catch of the day!!

small bass. only catch in 6 hours 😭😭😭

5 BASS IN 1 HOUR. 6:30pm-7:30. Thats a record for me. Granted they weren’t big but still we had a blast. Fishing at the “secret spot”. The private pond we found a path to. Using these little lures the boy got for Christmas called “cock-tails”🤔 not sure what that’s a reference to but it doesn’t sound kid friendly. 🤔Like rooster tails but they were a lot lighter which made the spin action kick in at about half the return speed. You could bring them in pretty slow which is what the fish were going for today on account of the colder water I’m thinking? I found a tired ol’ crank bait and the boy scored huge and found a $10 lure. (See the White whopper plopper on my shirt.) Today was a good day🤘⚡️

Today was the first day of school ever for lil’ man. Big kindergartener!!! He’s getting so big. Walking out of the school I asked little sis what she wanted to do today? FISHING!!! The principal heard her and let out a big sigh, “please take me with you!” He said😂😂 Guess I got it pretty good. I’m Starting all over again teaching her how to cast and set the hook. I think she did good! She’s working on pulling her own hook but we got all school year she’ll get it💪🤘⚡️
