Nice spotted plus a good view of the area I fished last week on Chickamauga courtesy of the Mrs. who, after 31 years, still likes to keep tabs on me when I’m on the water. 🤣

Good day on Chickamauga! All were taken close to some form of heavy cover, including a spectacular top-water blow up on the biggest one. Saw him chasing shad against a fallen log close to shore. Quickly grabbed the popper, made a short cast against the log and he crushed it on the first twitch. Awesome bite! 👊

Got me a couple channels this evening! Nuggets tomorrow!
