Caught the fish of a LIFETIME out at Goose Island last night! A 3ft 5in Bull Red! Caught on a 30lb braided line with a size 5 croaker hook using fresh cut dead mullet! This beauty was an absolute pleasure but a challenge to catch! Had to have 4 other anglers take their 6 lines out of the water so we wouldn't get all tangled up! Got her up on the deck after a good 10 minutes and realized she was a Bull Red and not a large drum like we all thought! She was absolutely beautiful!! I took a few pics with her and then safely released her back into the water! "Let em go so they can grow" is what I say once they get that big!! And, its spawning season soon! So go on and make some more babies, momma!! Just wanted to share this amazing experience with y'all! Tight lines and have a wonderful day!!🎣 ❤️
