My new pb

Caught an itty bitty bluegill and took the chance to turn it in to something a bit larger. It worked. Drop shot rig with a 4/0 bait holder hook.

Walked around the whole pond over the course of about 3 hours before making it back to little pier and avoiding the skunk.

caught this approx. 10 lbs channel out of the pond at Challenger 7 park. Powerbait chicken liver from Wal Mart has been killing it with these big channel cats. It sinks and within 5 minutes im getting hit or reeling one in. It is that simple 3/4 oz. or 1 oz. weight, #4 treble hook and the power bait and its on. About 8 ft. of water and it was about 730 pm so the air was only about 93° and water was hovering close to 78°. These muscular heavy cats are always a blast to hook and reel in because they feel like pulling up something waaay bigger than they actually are. Having great fun with these cats.
